Overview

The Flip4 refined Samsung's clamshell formula with a brighter, more useful cover screen and the same reliable IPX8 water resistance as its Fold sibling. The Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset is efficient enough that battery life actually improved slightly over the Flip3 despite a similar 3700 mAh cell. Camera output from the 12 MP main sensor is solid in daylight but shows its age in low light next to newer models. For anyone wanting the pocketable folding form factor without paying current-generation prices, the Flip4 remains a comfortable middle ground.
