Overview

The S24 marked the start of Samsung's Galaxy AI push, adding live translation and circle-to-search on top of the same reliable 50 MP triple camera and compact 6.2-inch body the S23 offered. It's also the first Galaxy S generation covered by Samsung's 7-year software update promise, a genuinely significant change for anyone who keeps a phone long-term. A brighter 2600-nit display and titanium-adjacent Armor aluminum 2 frame add durability without changing the compact form factor. Battery life stays roughly the same as the S23 at 4000 mAh, still the phone's least exciting spec.
