Overview

The A71 popularized the large-screen, quad-camera mid-ranger formula Samsung has refined ever since, with a Super AMOLED Plus display and a 64 MP main sensor that were both genuinely impressive for its 2020 launch price. A dedicated microSD slot, 3.5mm jack, and 32 MP selfie camera round out a well-featured package. The Snapdragon 730 chipset is dated by now, and there's no water resistance rating, a gap the later A72 addressed. Best considered secondhand or at a steep discount at this point.
