Overview

Samsung notably switched the A36 to a Snapdragon chip (6 Gen 3) instead of its usual Exynos silicon, a change GSMArena's own testing found gave it a real efficiency edge over its Exynos-powered A26 sibling. IP67 water resistance and Gorilla Glass Victus+ carry over from the A-series' recent durability push. The triple camera setup with an 8 MP ultrawide is a slight step down from the A56's 12 MP unit, the main practical difference between the two. Now sitting one generation behind the A37, it's a reasonable value option if the price gap to the newer model is significant.
